The center of Oracle is a rusted wagon wheel hub from some old farm wagon I would imagine, and is sealed in polyurethane along with the other steel components. The hub center is hammered copper, heat-colored with embedded steel and glass, and the seven spokes are carved oak finished in stain and wax polish. Suspended within copper rings are a pair of lenses that add several dimensions to this distinctive piece. Oracle measures about 36 inches wide and 30 inches tall.
